Hay Bales and Storm
This bucolic autumn scene was photographed in the rain. The San Juan Mountains are in the background and are partially covered in clouds of a very unusual color. The sun setting in the west peaked in and out of the clouds and produced a warm glow over the entire landscape. Such color is very fleeting and must be captured quickly.
